I think imgur would render the message unreadable. Dropbox or any other none destructive host would work though.

So the file itself is the container? The pixels aren't actually modified? It would be cool to be able to print images and retain the encoded message, scan it back into the application and reveal the message again. Your wall art becomes private keys.

Worth noting that with most implementations the hidden messages won't survive recompression, so if you upload to a site that likes to recompress your image mercilessly (facebook, twitter), don't expect anyone to be able to read it
